I am a fiber artist and hiker whose work is stitched at the intersection of backcountry beauty and ancestral craft. For me, quilting is more than a medium—it is a way to tell stories and join the lineage of makers who have long used thread to document their world.
My creative process begins on the trail being present and noticing, and my photo gallery is a digital sketchbook. Whether crawling through super-blooms on Table Mountain, ogling desert flora in March, exploring the rugged, fog-drenched Humboldt County, or trekking through granite rock gardens and peaks of the Trinity Alps, I like to translate those views into art. As a ‘wildflower geek’ and ‘baby birder,’ I find inspiration in the small wonders—a rare petal count or a fleeting silhouette—and interpret them into both representational landscapes and vibrant abstractions.
My work spans the intimate and the expansive: from quilted cards that serve as botanical snapshots to intricate art quilt wall hangings and full-size quilts. Each piece is a tactile map of a life lived outdoors, bridging the gap between the sanctuary of the studio and the freedom of the wilderness.

Descriptions of artwork: I believe textiles belong in everyone’s daily life. This card offers a tactile,
handcrafted way to send a truly special message. Each card is a small-scale textile altar designed to be a keepsake for someone you love.
