November 15, 2021, OWAC general membership will convene at the beautiful and inspiring town of Sonora, California, hosted by Tuolumne County’s Go Tuolumne organization.

With all the bleak forecasts for climate related issues hanging like a bone-dry, gloomy cloud over all of the outdoors, we can all truly make a difference.

Our discussions with the host group for a fall conference have been put on hold until spring due to problems with housing availability.
With the coming month of May results from our two competitions will be announced.
Winners from among the Outdoor Writers Association of California members that entered the annual Excellence in Craft competition will be rewarded with cash prizes for the first time in OWAC history.
