Our Raffle Queen, Carol Martens, has left the building
Big Bear Spring Conference Raffle Updates

After so many years, our Raffle Queen and OWAC member has decided to take a new life path. With big adventures around the bend, we wish Carol all the best. I personally want to thank her for all the years of OWAC service, dedication and good spirit, and for guiding me in her Raffle Queen footsteps.

Yes, it’s official. You may bow or curtsy to your new Raffle Queen, Barbara Steinberg. Although I’m putting it out there if anyone else is up to the challenge to be Raffle Queen or King.

Our spring conference at Visit Big Bear, May 10-12, 2022, is coming up fast. Whether you are attending or not, please think about what you can bring or send to include in the raffle. Your donation can be new or lightly used, unique, valuable or not; but in like-new condition. Some of the items that raised a lot of money in the past were custom boots, shirts, jackets, jewelry, cosmetics and sports equipment. For Big Bear, we already have wine, books authored and signed by members, handmade Fire & Light glass candle holders, and a Native American ceramic bowl. YOU can add items that guarantee this raffle will be fun, profitable, and support our OWAC programs.

If you have something you’d like to contribute, please email me a photo, detailed description, and value of the item to:   [email protected]

Let’s raise the roof on this raffle!
