It’s always satisfying to have new winning photographers. And also when there are so many outstanding images that it requires four rather than three winners. For the September-October submission we had both. Three of the four photographers were first-time winners. It’s always exciting to contact them with the good news. Also, we had four images featuring feathered, furry, and crusty friends. The results deserve a round of applause.
