CaliforniaFallColor.com is for sale. This seasonal website (Sept. – Dec.) generates a steady income of from $8,000 to $12,000 from regional sponsors that want California’s autumn to be explained and communicated.

With over 60,000 loyal users who want accurate and timely advice on where to photograph and experience fall color in California, it has the potential (if converted into a subscription-based website) to generate $100,000 or more in four months of reporting.

California Fall Color was established in 2009 and has been recognized within the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento Bee, San Jose Mercury News, San Diego Union-Tribune, Armed Forces Radio Network (On Travel), KCET-TV and the California Sun (among many media) as being the authority on where and when to find fall color throughout California. The website has received 20 awards, including being named Best Outdoor Internet Site and Best Outdoor Medium in California.

Submissions to the website come from a network of some 100 “color spotters” and destinations that volunteer timely reports and photographs.
