OWAC 2024 Conference Display Booth
As announced elsewhere in this Newsletter, Outdoor Writers Association of California is planning its next annual conference in Sacramento in conjunction with the International Sportsmen’s Expo. Dates are January 18-21, 2024.
Expo organizers have kindly offered OWAC a free booth to represent our organization and showcase the work of our members. At the booth, members can sell books, display photos, promote their expertise, and mingle with colleagues. Brochures about OWAC will make our organization known to more people and also help recruit new journalist members.
Bob Semerau has graciously offered to share his many years’ experience displaying at trade shows, by building our booth. But first we need to know the kinds of work we’ll be offering. At this early stage, please advise your needs:
–Book Authors – How many book titles and the title of each book that you wish to sell or just display;
–Photographers – How many photos and the size of each that you wish to display, noting whether they are mounted with stiff backing or framing.
–Videographers – Samples of your work that you would like to display.
–Other OWAC Media – Submit requests to display samples of your work (broadcast, podcast, internet, blogs, etc.)
