The Outdoor Sportsmen’s Shows are Coming up Soon!
As 2022 quietly comes to a close, 2023 is beginning with great promise for new outdoor adventures and travel opportunities. I am always excited when January rolls around because it signals the start of the outdoor sportsmen’s and adventure travel show season. And now that the pandemic is in our rearview window, most of the shows that were previously reduced in size, or canceled all together during 2021-2022, are now back in full swing and happening over the next few months throughout the state.
If you have not attended one these shows before, they are great events for outdoor enthusiasts from all backgrounds and skill levels to enjoy and learn more about all that California’s great outdoors have to offer. There’s always something for everyone at each event. Here are the biggest shows and my favorites to attend each year.
Adventure Travel and Outdoor Sportsmen’s Shows
Jan. 19-22: Sacramento – International Sportsmen’s Exposition
Feb. 16-19: Del Mar – Bart Hall Show – Fishing, Boating, Travel, Hunting and Outdoor Recreation
Feb. 18-19: Los Angeles – Adventure Travel Show
March 2-5: Costa Mesa – Pacific Coast Sportfishing Tackle, Boat, Travel and Outdoors Show
March 10-12: Bakersfield – Central Valley Sportsmen’s Boat and RV show
Mar. 29-Apr. 2: Long Beach – Bart Hall Show – Fishing, Boating, Travel, Hunting and Outdoor Recreation
