A graduate of the Naval Academy, Terry served as a naval aviator flying the F-14 Tomcat, accumulating over 3,500 hours total flying time and 75 combat missions. He served as commanding officer for an unmanned experimental unit that deployed great Americans; and retired after 28 years of combined active and reserve service. Currently he is the Executive Director for the Cal Maritime Academy Foundation. He spent 20 years in the aerospace industry in program management roles for a variety of companies. Terry is also a licensed Captain in Inland and Near Coastal waters for sailing and power vessels of up to 100 tons. He and his wife Jennifer live in Vallejo, CA and enjoy supporting veterans and the community, and sailing their own boat.
