Do you want to run for OWAC Board of Directors?

You are welcome to nominate yourself!
Your unique qualifications make you valuable to this organization and being a board member or being a committee member is a pleasure and allows you to see the organization from a different perspective; the rewards are self evident.

Please respond by MARCH 1st with a brief bio and photo (preferably a headshot) to the Nominating Committee Chair John Henigin (john@fishtalkradio.com), OWAC Election Chairs Barbara Steinberg (californiatravelinsider@yahoo.com), and Kathie Morgan (fishrap@att.net).  Please limit your bio to 250 words.

Your 2012 dues must be paid prior to submitting a nomination.

A BOARD MEMBER SERVES FOR THREE YEARS.

THERE ARE TEN MONTHLY TELEPHONE MEETINGS USUALLY NO LONGER THAN AN HOUR AND TWO BOARD MEETINGS AT OUR CONFERENCES.  WHILE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO ATTEND AS MANY MEETINGS AS POSSIBLE, YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL MEETINGS.

YOUR ELECTION TO THE BOARD SIGNIFIES THAT YOU ARE ONE OF OWAC'S LEADERS AND YOUR WILLINGNESS TO DEVOTE YOUR TIME, TALENTS AND ENERGIES TO THE MAINTENANCE AND PROGRESS OF OUR ORGANIZATION IS COMMENDED.
